Lizzy Schule lives on Martha's Vineyard.  She received her MFA in Painting and Printmaking from the University of Iowa.  Lizzy holds a BA in Painting and Literature from Bennington College.  Her portraits and landscapes often allude to mythological and literary themes. Through her work, she explores ideas of  femininity, sexual identity, intimacy, and environment.
